The Malaga Cove Homeowners Association is a voluntary neighborhood group for homeowners in the Malaga Cove area of Palos Verdes Estates. Membership is optional, with dues paid each year per household or land parcel. The group holds an annual members meeting with speakers from the city and sponsors summer concerts in Farnham Martin Park. In 2016 it led a project that added more than 250 drought tolerant plants to a 7,200 square foot triangle of city parkland at Via Ramon and Via Pinale. It was incorporated in 1982 and is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit. Malaga Cove is one of the six neighborhood areas the city uses for disaster preparedness and its evacuation zones.
