HOAs/Rancho Palos Verdes/LA County
Monaco
Palos Verdes Monaco Homeowners Association covers Upper Monaco and Lower Monaco, east of Hawthorne Boulevard and south of Crest Road. The 287 single family homes were built from 1961 to 2018 on county tracts 25313 (Lower Monaco) and 25160 (Upper Monaco). The founding partnership, Palos Verdes Monaco, recorded restrictions for the lower tract in 1960 and for the upper tract in the mid 1960s. The restrictions protect views and keep most lots to one story as seen from the street. The association, incorporated in 1975, reviews plans for new homes and additions through its Architectural Committee. Its dues are voluntary, and the largest cost is upkeep of the four neighborhood entrances.

Notes
Monaco's dues are voluntary, and the association is run by volunteer homeowners. Its recorded CC&Rs still apply to every lot in both tracts, and its Architectural Committee reviews plans for new homes and additions, so ask for them in escrow. The association answers at realtoradmin@monacohoa.com.
