Dapplegray Lanes

Dapplegray Lanes covers the homes on Dapplegray Lane, Buckskin Lane and Sorrel Lane, plus Palos Verdes Drive North from 2533 to 2712 and 27121 Palos Verdes Drive East, as its bylaws define the Lanes. The 174 single family homes sit mostly on county tract 14144, and most were built from 1947 to 1959. The Palos Verdes Corporation recorded deed restrictions in 1946 that call for one story homes unless approved, wood shingle or shake roofs, white paint and white ranch style fences. Bridle trail easements run behind the lots and connect to the city trail system. The Dapplegray Lane Property Owners Association was formed in 1948, and owners join by applying and paying yearly dues. Its architectural committee reviews plans for any building, fence or wall in the Lanes.
