Montecillo covers 170 homes, one on Palos Verdes Drive North and the rest on Montecillo, Aurora, Vista Real and Encanto Drives, Celeste, Lantana, Dorado and Cerrito Places and Casaba Road. Most of the single family homes were built from 1960 to 1964 on county tracts 25492, 25607 and 24940. The 12 homes on Casaba Road were built from 2014 to 2017, and 11 of them make up the Casaba Estates subdivision, which has its own homeowners association. The association says it filed its nonprofit papers with the state in 1962 and is run by a volunteer board elected by residents.
