Vantage Pointe is a guard gated community of 67 single family homes in Rolling Hills Estates. Its private streets are Santa Cruz, Anacapa, San Miguel and Santa Rosa. The land was Northrop's 34 acre site in the planned Palos Verdes Research Park, near Hawthorne Boulevard and Crest Road. Northrop decided to sell it in 1991. The homes were built from 1998 to 2002 on county tract 52016, with Cayman Rolling Hills LP as the subdivider. The Vantage Pointe Association was formed in 1998.
