Academy Hill

The Academy Hill Homeowners Association covers the 183 single family homes on Academy Drive, Montaigne Way, Rousseau Lane, Cartesian Circle, Pascal Place, Quinlin Drive and Roessler Court. The neighborhood is on unincorporated county land west of Crenshaw Boulevard and south of Palos Verdes Drive North, with Chadwick School at the top of the hill. In 1968 the school's trustees decided to sell this land to the Presley Development Company to add to the school's endowment. The county recorded tract 26545 in 1969, and assessor records date all but one of the homes to 1970 through 1973. Membership dues are voluntary and have helped pay for a yearly neighborhood party and other events.

BoundaryCounty lot lines for tract 26545, parcel maps 22-85 and 22-94 and lots on Rousseau Ln (LA County Assessor parcels). Which lots belong comes from addresses and tract records, not the association's own map, so the edge may be off by a few lots.

Boundaries come from city GIS records, county tract maps or county parcel lines and are not survey lines. Management companies change, so confirm the contact with the association before relying on it. Board members and homeowners are never listed here.
